New data for Index of Core Industries: 2020 May: 105.0 2019 May: 137.0 YoY growth: -23.4%  Details: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry Office of Economic Adviser (OEA), Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), reports a monthly index, ICI, "Index of Eight Core Industries (Base: 2011-12=100)".  "The Eight Core Industries comprise 40.27 per cent of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP)." This has had an impact on the items being produced by the establishments during the month of April, 2020, where a number of responding units have reported NIL production.
